Waltzer & Associates

Waltzer & Associates is a law firm in New Orleans, Louisiana. The firm's main areas of law practice are car accidents, wrongful death, and boat collisions as well as cases in citizen enforcement of environmental laws. The firm's expertise is as trial lawyers in representing individuals and small businesses as plaintiffs against large businesses and their insurers. Since August 2005 much of the litigation handled by Waltzer & Associates has involved claims related to hurricanes, starting with Hurricane Katrina. Joel R. Waltzer (born 1963) is the principal of the firm, and, as of 2009, his associates are Robert B. Wiygul, Bruce C. Waltzer, and Clay J. Garside. The firm, which pursues cases primarily in south Louisiana and the adjoining area of Mississippi, provides legal-translation services in Vietnamese.[1] United States Representative Anh "Joseph" Cao worked as a lawyer for Waltzer & Associates after his graduation from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law.[2]
